Our in-house quality management system is structured to meet the requirements of multiple classification societies. Our workshop holds approvals from DNV, RINA, and Bureau Veritas for steel works, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic works, as well as rigging. These approvals confirm that our repairs comply with international ship classification and safety standards.
Navitec employs its own International Welding Engineer (IWE), responsible for the development, management, and supervision of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR), always ensuring correct application. In addition, we have certified welders and approved welding procedures certified by DNV, Vinçotte, and Lloyd’s Register. This guarantees craftsmanship and compliant execution across a wide range of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex and aluminium.

Navitec is VCA** certified. Safety, health, and wellbeing are structurally embedded in all our operations, both on board vessels and within our workshop facilities.
Our LSA quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 by LRQA. This certification underlines our structured approach, commitment to continuous improvement, and strong customer focus.
Navitec is additionally recognized by several flag states, including the Belgian Maritime Inspectorate (BMI). Our LSA activities are carried out under approval of multiple classification societies, including DNV, RINA, Bureau Veritas, and ClassNK, and are fully compliant with SOLAS and MSC.402(96). This includes the maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair of lifeboats and launching appliances.
Navitec is also an authorized Cralog Service Center for inspections of lifeboats, launching appliances, and cranes.
