It is Navitec’s mission to assist crew, owners, charterers and managers in maintaining operability of their sea going vessels and industrial installations in the best possible way. In order to achieve this, we employ highly skilled labour and Ship Repair Managers with experience at sea and in ship repair.
Founded in the late seventies as a welding shop aimed at the maritime industry, Navitec has developed, grown and diversified. We currently employ around 50 people, run a fleet of over 30 vehicles and cover all ports and facilities within a day’s ride from our workshop.
We are proud to serve almost all major shipping companies as loyal customers and today we are renowned for our flexibility, quick response times and pragmatic, solution oriented approach. They help maintain our focus and incite us to continuously improve our organisation and our services.

At Navitec we know how the maritime business works. We have a former Master at Sea and Fleet Manager as Managing Director at the helm, the course is set and clear.
The same level of expertise and experience is represented in our team of Ship Repair Managers. With three former Ship’s Engineers, a Superintendent, an Electrical Engineer and a Technical Engineer we can manage any issue that might arise on or near a seagoing vessel.
The same level of skills and experience can be found in the people actually working on the vessels and in our workshop. We are of the skills and expertise we have built up over the years.
This also allows for young and ambitious staff to learn on the job and develop themselves at their own pace under senior supervision.
